It depends on the number of cameras, their resolution and the hard-disk size. For example, 8 cameras at 4 MP recording continuously with H.265+ need roughly 5–6 TB for 30 days. Our CCTV storage calculator gives an estimate for your setup.
Will the cameras keep recording during load-shedding?
Yes, if the system has power backup. We connect the recorder and camera power to a UPS or battery backup sized for your typical load-shedding hours.
